Midland & General Scaffolding Ltd supply a professional scaffolding service to the asbestos removal industry on a national basis. The Company has held an ancillary asbestos licence since 2011 and has seen sustained growth in this sector through close working relationships with our long-standing customers and the development of new business based on our reputation for a cost effective, efficient and reliable service.

Midland & General Scaffolding Ltd are one of a small number of scaffolding companies in the UK that hold an Ancillary licence to undertake licenced scaffold works with asbestos.

Between Martin and Craig, they have over 32 Years’ experience within the Asbestos removal industry. Which is instrumental in understanding the client’s needs and expectations when designing / advising and delivering bespoke 1^st class scaffolds time after time.

The Ancillary Licence is permitted by the HSE, this allows us to erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide access for the safe removal of Asbestos where it is foreseeable that the scaffolding activity could disturb asbestos. Due to the licencing regime, planning and consideration of all risks are taken when carrying out works which is vital to the health and safety of our employees and our client’s staff.

Our specialist team of Supervisors and Operatives involved with licensable works are fully trained with Medicals, face fits and provide NASC compliant scaffolding or Bespoke Design Scaffold along with being up to date with HSE Asbestos standards.

Midland & General Scaffolding Ltd understand our clients needs and fully supports them in terms of Scaffold geographical coverage, we will travel throughout the UK to support or clients, some recent projects include scaffolds erected in Exeter, Isle of Wight and Peterhead (Scotland)

We have a number of personnel with baseline clearance for working on MOD sites throughout the UK (formerly AMEY) now VIVO passes.

Midland and General Scaffolding, a dynamic and vibrant company, operates from premises in Rugeley, in rural Staffordshire, in the heart of the Midlands. The location provides easy access to major motorway links enabling it to provide an immediate and professional response to its values client anywhere in the mainland UK. In addition to the above, a satellite depot is currently being sought in the South East to serve our current contracts and valued clients in and around the area.

The company commenced trading in December 2007 and has achieved steady but dynamic growth over the years. The Directors continually strive to maintain quality thereby ensuring that their clients receive a quality service second to none. The Company’s professional image is maintained by careful selection and training of its skilled workforce, who continually work to the highest standards.

Equipped for the job

A fleet of fully equipped vehicles is at the Company’s disposal enabling it to provide a prompt and efficient service nation-wide. Our company also employs their own fully qualified scaffold safety inspectors.

In order to maintain the commitment to providing a quality service the Company has ample stock/plant storage facilities at its premises for day to day site activities. There are garage plant and workshop facilities available to keep the fleet of vehicles fully equipped and ready for work.
